We don’t store your files, so there is nothing to charge you for storing.

We cover the egress cost for data that passes through our part of the infrastructure and don’t pass it on to you. Transfer falls under a fair use policy, and there is never an overage line on your invoice.

We don’t host your files, so per-GB limits don’t apply.

Delete a transfer account and the seat is free for someone else straight away. Revoke a Connector and the slot is immediately available for another one.

What the SLA covers.
The components we operate: Head listener availability, measured per service. It doesn't cover your Storage Connector, your storage or your network. The service agreement sets out that boundary.
We monitor both sides and show you which side broke.
Our monitoring watches the whole path and attributes every disruption to one side or the other. Only incidents on our side count against the SLA, and the portal shows you the attribution whichever way it falls.

Questions people ask us.
What counts as a transfer account?
A file-transfer user provisioned on your Head. Administrators and console users are free and unlimited.
What counts as a Connector?
Each Storage Connector you deploy and successfully enroll with a Head, whether it is installed as a service or running in a container.
What happens if I go over?
Nothing breaks, and nothing is billed by surprise. Limits are enforced when you create something, never while you are working: you are stopped at the point of provisioning, with a message telling you what you need.
Is there really no storage charge?
There is really no storage charge. Your files stay where they are, in the storage you already own.
What is “fair use” on transfer?
A published threshold: 2 TB per month per tenant on Shared, and 10 TB per month on Dedicated. If you go above it, we get in touch to understand your workload. There is no overage charge on either plan.
Can I move from Shared to Dedicated?
Yes, at any time. The unused part of your term is applied as credit on your new plan.
Can I move from Dedicated to Shared?
Not directly. You would cancel your Dedicated plan, subscribe to Shared, provision your transfer accounts again and re-enroll your Storage Connectors.
Do I have to talk to sales?
Only if you want to. You can subscribe on your own, or try Shared free for 14 days first. Our sales team is there if you need them, but you never have to go through them.
